Ranger Safaris was born in 1978 because of rising international demand for ecotourism and wilderness experience in Tanzania. For the past 42 years, Ranger Safaris remained as Tanzania’s most respected leading Destination Management Company. Company Safaris started off its operations in 1978 with only 4 Volkswagen Combi and 9 employees progressing rapidly to its current fleet of 120 plus late model four wheel drive vehicles and over 190 employees. We have a team of most experienced driver guides, skilled mechanics and office staff who are committed to deliver a safe and memorable safari experience. Ranger Safaris has won awards for ‘Best Tour Operator (Overall)’ and ‘Best Tour Operator (Northern Circuit)’ from Tanzania National Parks for two years in a row since these awards were introduced by Ministry of Tourism and Natural Resources in year 2019.
Ranger Safaris is committed for safety and high hygiene standards as per international requirements being an affiliate to ‘World of TUI’. Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism has issued national standard operating procedures for the management of Covid-19 in tourism business and Tanzania is now reopen for tourism.
For the past few months tourism has come to standstill and we have taken this opportunity to train our employees on Covid-19 safety training conducted by experts under Tanzania Tour Guide Association. Our safari vehicles are now equipped with hand sanitizers and disinfectant sprays to sanitize door handles and guests luggage to prevent the spread of novel Coronavirus. Since end of July 2020 we have started operating safari with all the Covid-19 safety measures and precautions in place.
The Safer Tourism Seal will be an assurance to all our agents and potential guests regarding adherence to stringent safety measures undertaken by us to deliver a safe safari experience to our guests.
We will share safety documents through email
1) Covid-19 guidelines followed at Ranger Safaris.
2) Staff awareness and office social distancing.
3) Vehicle signage for Covid-19 awareness.
